WEBSep 14, 2024 · One of their newest dishes is the Thai Chicken Rice which is also known as Khao Man Gai (a variation of Hainanese Chicken). The poached chicken thigh was fairly juicy and tender. It was mildly fragrant and was accompanied by a spicy soy bean sauce. Think along the lines of Nong's Khao Man Gai in Portland.

WEB5 hours ago · Our last appie was the Truffle Mushroom Risotto Ball (aka Arancini) with a onion tomato sauce. This was a huge portion of 6 large risotto balls that were somewhat crispy. This is because the onion tomato sauce was drizzled atop all of the risotto balls, resulting in them become soft and a bit crumbly.

WEBThe accompaniments were excellent as well with vibrant veggies and a crispy rosti. The other feature was the Beef Cheek with red wine cabbage puree, German gnocchi and Brussels sprouts. Gelatinous and fork tender, the beef cheek was rich and delicious. However, the puree was just a bit too tangy for our tastes.

WEBNov 5, 2021 · The last dish we prepared was the Pork Pomodoro Pasta with pesto pull-apart bread (we omitted the pesto since the kids didn't want it). Due to the absence of pesto, the bread was a bit plain in appearance. It was fluffy inside though. As for the pasta, it was fully-loaded with pork and zucchini.

WEBSince I've been on a fried chicken sandwich quest, it was only reasonable to try all 3 of their available sammies including the Off The Grid Original (cheese, cabbage and BBQ mayo), The Ring (onion ring, bacon, cabbage, cheese and BBQ mayo) and The Fiery Bird (spicy fried chicken thigh, cheese, cabbage and BBQ mayo). The fried chicken thighs were as crunchy as they appeared in the picture.

WEBOct 3, 2023 · Majestically-plated, the Torre de Mariscos sported layers of Hokkaido scallops, Blue Pacific shrimp, ahi tuna, cucumber, red onion and avocado topped with green onion, cilantro and fried katsuobushi. For this version it sat in aguachile verde. The freshness of the ingredients were the stars of the show here. Scallops were sweet and buttery while the shrimp were properly prepared and had a snap.

WEBOct 27, 2021 · Finished off tableside, the Oysters on the half shell were sauced with a motoyaki and topped with ikura marinated in sake and yuzu. As you can see in the picture, the oysters were torched, where the ikura were charred. So beyond the buttery and briny oyster, it was complimented by the classic Japanese flavours of a motoyaki.
