Connecticut State Police and Enfield police are searching for the driver of a red pickup truck who left the scene of a crash involving a motorcycle Friday afternoon.

A pickup truck driver tried to pass another vehicle by speeding up on a rainy day but instead, he crashed, causing his passenger to receive fatal injuries, and now he is facing charges, court documents show.

The Commerce City Police Department shared on social media on Sept. 13 that an 18-year-old woman was crossing East 64th Avenue near the 5100 block that evening when she was hit by the driver of a pickup truck being driven by an unlicensed driver.
