Highlights of the 18-game schedule include games at Assembly Hall against new league members UCLA (Jan. 4) and USC (Jan. 18), a trip out west to play Oregon (Jan. 24) and Washington (Jan. 27), Senior Day on Feb. 27 against Maryland and a rivalry game against Purdue to close out the year on March 2.

The Hoosiers added five new players to the roster including key transfers — sharpshooting guard Shay Ciezki (Penn State) and veteran big Karoline Striplin (Tennessee) — and highly-rated recruit, Faith Wiseman. Wiseman, who is from Martinsville, was the No. 61 ranked recruit in ESPN’s top 100.

The IU basketball schedule is finally out, much to the delight of Hoosier fans. However, this was one of many big news stories as Indiana hosted a media day and it was a big recruiting weekend.
