Annapurna Interactive, a video game publisher and developer branch of Annapurna Pictures, has been rocked by an unforeseen turn of events, with the entire staff resigning following a recent conflict.

Twenty-four Annapurna Interactive staffers have left the company as plans for the Megan Ellison-studio to spinoff the division with the former department’s President Nathan Gary fell apart. The intent of the spinoff was to have Annapurna Interactive expanding further into large-budget games.

The staff of Annapurna Interactive reportedly resigned en masse after a deal to spin off the group fell through.
