Things change quickly in the NFL, as we've seen with the Los Angeles Rams. They went from looking like a playoff contender before Week 1 to now being viewed as one of the weakest teams in the league after two games.

NFL Week 3 power rankings still have Chiefs No. 1, which isn't a surprise, but the fast-rising Steelers, Vikings, Saints and Buccaneers are surprises.

The Chiefs survived an upset bid by the Bengals to stay on top of the NFL Power Rankings, but most everything else was chaos.

The Vikings beat one of the league's best teams, the 49ers, in a game they controlled the entire way. Quarterback Sam Darnold has appeared to finally reach his potential in Minnesota on a team suddenly looking like a real threat in the NFC North.

Seriously, the Saints have over 90 points so far. No one else in the entire NFL has even eclipsed 70 yet. It’s mind-boggling to consider. This is nothing to say of Allen’s defense, which has predictably been brilliant, hemming in the hapless Carolina Panthers and the supposedly high-octane Dallas Cowboys.

After week one, much of the opinions around the NFL world changed a bit, but not much. The general feeling was that of confirmation that the Raiders were as bad as they thought they were. Thus their low pre-season ranking just got a bit lower.
