Stocks looked set to tick lower on Friday, with S&P 500 and Dow futures pointing to both gauges edging away from the record levels they'd set in the previous trading session.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average turned higher Friday afternoon, with the blue-chip stock index rising slightly. The Dow was up 0.1% in early afternoon trading, while the S&P 500 was down 0.2% and the Nasdaq slipped 0.

Wall Street hit the brakes on its post-Fed rally to start a triple-witching Friday session. The Dow was down 46 points, or 0.1%, while the S&P 500 was down 0.2%. The Nasdaq Composite slipped 0.1%.
