At least 26 dead in powerful bomb blast at train station in Pakistan - Train services to and from Quetta temproarily suspended

A suicide bombing at a train station in southwestern Pakistan on Friday killed at least 24 people, according to a senior local government official.

A banned ethnic separatist group in a restive province claimed responsibility for the deadly attack in Quetta, the provincial capital.

Pakistan's railways suspended all train services on Monday to and from a restive southwestern province where a suicide bombing at a train station over the weekend killed 26 people, including soldiers and railway staff.

Pakistan Railways has suspended train services to Quetta station after a deadly explosion killed 26 and injured 62. The closure lasts from November 11 to 14 for passenger safety. The Bolan Mail and Jaffar Express will resume services later in November.
