There's a new update in Shah Rukh Khan's death threat case. The Mumbai Court has extended the Police custody of the accused lawyer.

A Bandra court on Thursday remanded the Chhattisgarh lawyer, accused of threatening to kill Shah Rukh Khan, in police custody till November 18. He also allegedly demanded Rs 50 lakh from the Bollywood superstar last week. The Mumbai police arrested the accused lawyer, Faizan Khan, from Chhattisgarh ’s capital Raipur on Tuesday.

The threat to Shah Rukh Khan comes amid a series of similar threats targeting fellow actor Salman Khan, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, are facing a surge in death threats and extortion attempts, raising concerns about the resurgence of underworld influence in the film industry.

Mumbai police have arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly sending threatening messages to Bollywood actor Salman Khan. This is the second arrest in recent weeks related to threats against the actor.
